The Conservative Friends of Cyprus have hosted their third Parliamentary delegation to Cyprus, a Commonwealth and EU member, where the importance of the close bilateral relationship between the UK and Cyprus, particularly post-Brexit, was top of the agenda.

The Conservative Friends of Cyprus met with Mr Stephen Lillie CMG who is shortly set to take over command of the British diplomatic mission to Cyprus.

CFCyprus co-hosted a launch in Parliament this week to mark the formal opening of the exhibition, Shoreline of Cyprus, consisting of photographs by the journalist and broadcaster, Doros Partasides.

The Committee on Missing Persons (CMP) in Cyprus met with the Conservative Friends of Cyprus at a meeting held in Portcullis House earlier this week to provide an update on their important work in exhuming, identifying and returning the remains of missing persons to their relatives.

Cypriot Finance Minister, Mr Harris Georgiades met with Board Members of the Conservative Friends of Cyprus during his visit to London on Wednesday 12 July.

At the first Board meeting of the Conservative Friends of Cyprus since the General Election, two new Parliamentary Chairmen were announced – Dr Matthew Offord MP for the House of Common’s group, and Baroness Liz Redfern CBE for the House of Lords group.
